I received my teaching credential from
Southern Illinois University. A few years later I went on to get a
Masters degree in Learning Disabilies and Reading from DePaul
University. I spent the next 4 years teaching special education. While
my children were young, I left the public school system and worked part time at
the Children's Hospital in Denver where I was employed as a learning
specialist.
I have been teaching in ESUSD for the last 13 years, employed as a resource specialist for the first 10 years and for the last 3 years as a 3rd grade teacher.
I am priviledged to be part of the Richmond Street Staff. I am truly thankful that I have the opportunity to teach in a community that has an such amazing group of students, and parents.
